Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
Location: Cumming, GA 
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $1,660 – $1,893/week (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg experience, telemetry skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient-centered care to a diverse inpatient population.

Unit Overview:

This inpatient acute care unit specializes in gastrointestinal and medical-surgical patient care within a telemetry-capable environment. The unit manages a variety of medical conditions, including GI-related illnesses and other acute care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and gastrointestinal patients
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and healthcare standards
• Deliver compassionate and effective patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or acute care RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity inpatient environment
