Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU | Day Shift

Location: Globe, AZ
Job Type: Contract | Travel Assignment
Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts + On-Call Rotation
Pay Rate: $60 – $67/hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Globe, Arizona. The ICU RN will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, monitor complex medical conditions, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered.
• Monitor ventilators, telemetry, and critical care equipment.
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within EMR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare staff to support optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and families.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Arizona or Compact State License required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred or required per facility guidelines.
• Experience with ventilators, telemetry, and critical care monitoring equipment.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure clinical environment.
• EMR experience preferred.
