Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Antepartum
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $2,000 – $2,400/week (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Antepartum Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment supporting high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced maternal care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing high-acuity antepartum patients, fetal monitoring, and critical medication administration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to antepartum and high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor and manage conditions including:
  • Preterm labor
  • PPROM (Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes)
  • Preeclampsia and other high-risk pregnancy conditions
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and maternal assessments
• Administer and manage critical drips and medications including:
  • Magnesium Sulfate
  • Insulin
  • Heparin
• Collaborate closely with OB providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage
• Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and maternal care standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Antepartum RN experience required
• Recent high-acuity maternal care experience required
• Strong fetal monitoring skills required
• Experience managing critical drips and medication infusions required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced obstetric environment
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
