Job Title: RN – Ambulatory (Internal Medicine)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local : Up to $56/hr
Travel : Up to $65/hr
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours | Monday – Friday

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Ambulatory (Internal Medicine) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory/internal medicine setting
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education per physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to care teams promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPIC
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and follow-up care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size/trauma level preferred
• Level 1 Trauma Hospital experience highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Clean professional license history required
