Job Description

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a General Medical Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
  • Monitor and assess critically ill patients
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced critical care treatments
  • Operate and monitor ICU equipment and life-support systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in Cerner EMR
  • Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity ICU setting
