Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to perform a full range of cardiac ultrasound procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology and experience assisting with advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, color flow, stress echo, and TEE
• Assist cardiologists during stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures
• Obtain patient history and prepare patients for procedures
• Recognize and report abnormal or life-threatening findings
• Acquire and store digital imaging for physician interpretation
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and ensure a safe, clean environment
• Transport equipment for bedside studies as needed
• Document procedures and complete required reports and billing documentation
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement and training initiatives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or cardiac sonography program
• RDCS or RDMS certification (required)
• BLS certification (AHA required within 30 days of hire)
• Knowledge of echocardiography techniques, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile procedures
• Commitment to continuing education in echocardiography

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of clinical echocardiography experience
• Experience in cardiac catheterization or invasive procedure settings
• Experience with vascular imaging
