Job Title: Travel LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal, NY 13850
Duration: 16 Weeks

Schedule:

• Shift Options:
  • Day Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:15 PM
  • Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 07:45 AM
• 5x8-Hour Shifts (4–5 days per week)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (as needed)
• Note: Shift cannot be changed once assigned

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN for a long-term care (LTC) travel assignment. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a large facility, including patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Candidates must be adaptable, compassionate, and able to work efficiently in a structured care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Support care for patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care

Facility Details:

• 300-bed long-term care facility
• Patient Ratio: 1:18–20
• Night shift is generally slower paced

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience (recent experience in rehab, med-surg, or hospital settings also considered)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active New York State LPN/LVN License (required, no license issues accepted)
• BLS Certification (required)

Additional Information:

• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Request for Time Off (RTO) and shift changes are not permitted after offer acceptance
• Opportunity for extension based on performance and facility needs
