Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CV ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic critical care team. In this role, you will provide advanced, patient-centered care to critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator support and complex cardiovascular interventions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced ICU environment and is committed to delivering exceptional clinical outcomes through collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, high-acuity nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilators, IV drips, and advanced cardiac support therapies
• Serve as a patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and ongoing care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care efforts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire/transfer
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire/transfer

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 2–3 years) acute care ICU RN experience required
  OR
• 2+ years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience considered
