Job Title: Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation (Acute Rehab Unit)
Location: Onsite
Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Weekend, holiday, and call required (if applicable)
Position Overview:
The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on patient recovery, mobility, and functional improvement.
Qualifications:
• Current RN License – Required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing – Required
• Minimum 1–2 years clinical nursing experience – Required
• At least 1 successful travel assignment – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• Inpatient Rehab experience – Preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery goals
• Ensure patient safety, including safe mobility and lift usage
• Function effectively in high-stress situations
• May serve as charge nurse when required
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
