Position Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Job Type: Contract (14 Weeks | High संभावना of Extension)

Compensation:

• Local Pay: $52.00 – $62.00 per hour
• Travel Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 40 Hours per Week
• 5 Days/Week
• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to support a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department within a leading acute care facility. This role is responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general radiographic imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort throughout examinations
• Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment in accordance with quality standards
• Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiography)
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and equipment
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, acute care environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited program (military training accepted)

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License – Required
• BLS Certification – Preferred

Additional Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on radiography experience
• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
