Job Title: Merchandising Operations Coordinator (PLM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Merchandising Operations Coordinator (PLM) to support product lifecycle and transition activities within a fast-paced merchandising environment. This role plays a key part in managing SKU data, supporting product disposition processes, and ensuring smooth coordination between merchandising and operations teams.


Key Responsibilities:

SKU Maintenance:

  • Manage SKU add/delete processes and ensure all required documentation is complete
  • Update and maintain product disposition at both brand and item levels
  • Execute updates in systems such as POP Portal and PIM, including disposition codes and markdowns

Operational Support:

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for category transitions
  • Communicate updates clearly to cross-functional teams
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions

Logistics Coordination:

  • Initiate RTV (Return to Vendor) and DIF processes
  • Follow up with brands and buyers to obtain RA (Return Authorization) numbers

Markdown Execution:

  • Implement clearance and markdown cadence as directed by buyers

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on product transitions
  • Maintain visibility and transparency across operations

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Experience with data management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, SAP/SAP HANA, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
