Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Support patients in therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and coordination
• Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Arizona
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
• Previous clinical or travel experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
