Job Title: Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $30 – $32 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conducting sleep studies, patient assessment, and advanced sleep disorder testing in a clinical setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an RPSGT performing sleep studies
• Hands-on experience with:
  • CPAP/BiPAP titrations
  • Natus SleepWorks system
  • Pediatric patient population
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs occasionally and carry up to 30 lbs
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor overnight polysomnographic studies
• Review patient history, physician orders, and testing protocols
• Conduct patient interviews to assess sleep patterns, medications, and lifestyle factors
• Execute complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across diverse patient populations
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards
• Support team development by mentoring and assisting less experienced staff
• Participate in continuing education and competency development
• Perform additional duties as assigned
