Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Job Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Greenville, SC

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology and special procedures in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the radiology department.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any changes in status.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation using the EPIC system.
• Ensure the proper sterilization and functioning of medical equipment.
• Provide support to the team in preparing patients and the procedure rooms.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures setting.
• Certifications:
  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License
• Skills:
  • Proficiency with EPIC documentation system (1 year required).
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and maintain patient safety during procedures.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other medical staff.
  • Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.

Additional Information:

• Shift Details:
  • 5x8s, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • One night of call per week and every seventh weekend.
