Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to provide high-quality patient care through specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform blood draws and collect clinical specimens while ensuring accurate patient identification and adherence to safety protocols
  • Instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures
  • Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing, including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing, following established protocols
  • Ensure all required documentation and lab forms are completed accurately at the time of service
  • Document patient and test information in hospital systems for provider interpretation and regulatory compliance
  • Complete cardiac test ordering and billing processes as required
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient orders, workflow updates, and technical issues
  • Adhere to infection control standards, including proper use of PPE
  • Assist nursing units with specimen collection and test-related inquiries
  • Support onboarding and training of new staff and students
  • Identify and report opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement
  • Resolve specimen collection issues and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper usage of laboratory materials
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education activities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Deliver exceptional service to patients, families, and healthcare team members

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
  • EKG Certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an acute care hospital setting
