Job Title: Registered Nurse – Recovery (PACU/Extended Recovery)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Extended Recovery unit. The RN will provide post-anesthesia and post-operative care, ensuring patient stability, effective pain management, and safe recovery progression. This role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical recovery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Assess vital signs and identify post-operative complications promptly
• Administer medications and manage pain control protocols
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure safe transfer of patients to inpatient units or discharge as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PACU, Recovery, or similar acute care setting
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) in a high-volume environment
• Must be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical setting
