Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient

Location: Seaside, OR 97138
Shift: Day Shift (5x8-Hour)
Schedule: 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Orientation: 40 Hours

Overview:

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital setting, ensuring accurate medication preparation and distribution while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Facility Details:

• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital
• Total Staffed Beds: 23
• Charting System: Epic
• Parking: Free

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Perform IV admixture of non-hazardous medications
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Support inventory management and medication storage
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare teams

Work Schedule & Requirements:

• No floating between units
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required (10-hour shifts, 07:30 AM – 06:00 PM; consecutive weekends)
• Block scheduling not available
• 48-hour workweeks not approved

Required Qualifications:

• Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license (in hand)
• Recent travel or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with IV admixture (non-hazardous medications required)
• Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
