Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Massena, NY
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule: Night Shift (5x8 Hours)

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Compensation: $60 – $70 per hour

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their radiology team. This role involves performing a variety of CT and basic X-ray procedures in a fast-paced environment, supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans including routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Conduct basic X-ray exams such as chest, abdomen, and extremities
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate CT and radiologic equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Assist with emergency imaging needs, primarily from ED and inpatient units

Work Environment & Case Mix

• Adult Acute Care
• Adult Outpatient
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Patient population includes ED and inpatient cases, with occasional outpatient imaging

Common Procedures Include:

• CT: Head, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis
• Advanced CT: CTA (Head/Carotid), Pulmonary Embolism (PE) studies
• X-Ray: Chest, abdomen, and extremities

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required

Licensure & Certifications (Required):

• ARRT (R) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Active New York State License

Skills & Competencies

• Imaging of extremities (upper and lower)
• Abdomen/Gastrointestinal (GI)
• Spine and pelvis
• Head and chest/thorax imaging
• Musculoskeletal imaging
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
