Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Location: Santa Monica, California
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic acute care setting. The ideal candidate will assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe procedural environment
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Maintain equipment functionality and ensure proper room setup/cleanup
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• ARRT Certification (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Active California State License (required)
• Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient care

Schedule & Call Requirements:

• Regular shift: Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• On-call required:
  • One weekday per week (4:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • One weekend per month (Friday–Sunday rotation)
• Weekend availability is required

Additional Information:

• Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)
• No block scheduling
• Locals accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
