Job Title: Cath Lab Technician
Location: Weston, FL
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and team-oriented Cath Lab Technician with strong cardiac catheterization experience to support a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures, maintain a sterile field, and ensure high-quality patient care throughout all stages of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and equipment
• Scrub and circulate during procedures as required
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment and imaging systems
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during procedures
• Administer contrast media and medications as directed
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate patient records
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond within required timeframes
• Float to other facilities within the network as needed

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA required
• RCIS or RCVT certification preferred

Skills

• Strong experience in Cath Lab procedures and sterile technique
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and imaging systems
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Day shift with 4x10-hour schedule
• Weekend requirements as per department needs
• On-call responsibilities required
• Floating to nearby facilities may be required
• Block scheduling not available
