Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts 02540
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule

  • Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (36 hours/week)
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Rotating nights, every other weekend, and rotating holidays
  • May float to Med/Surg Tele units based on patient census and operational needs

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-performing critical care team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—while managing critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in the ICU setting using the nursing process
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation
  • Conduct ongoing patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Perform charge nurse responsibilities as needed
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively
  • Support staff orientation and provide clinical guidance when needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and support ancillary staff as required

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Prior ICU or critical care experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification
  • TCAR (Trauma Care After Resuscitation) certification
  • De-escalation certification
  • Experience with:
    • Hemodynamic monitoring
    • Ventilator management
    • Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring

Additional Requirements

  • CCHC Pharmacology Exam (required)
  • CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam (required)
