Job Title: Retail Visual Merchandising Coordinator
Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Hybrid – 6 Days Per Month)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Visual Merchandising Coordinator to oversee and manage the execution of secondary visual merchandising communications for a dynamic retail environment. This role is responsible for ensuring all merchandising directives align with brand standards, business objectives, and operational timelines while supporting flawless in-store execution.

The ideal candidate will bring strong visual merchandising expertise, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising Communication & Execution

• Oversee the creation and execution of secondary visual merchandising directives
• Manage promotional planners, sign directives, holiday cleanup guides, and visual communication materials
• Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within required timelines
• Coordinate proofing, updates, and distribution of visual merchandising materials

Project Coordination & Planning

• Create and maintain detailed promo planning documentation
• Integrate renderings, SKU details, and signage information into planning tools
• Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies

Signage & Planogram Management

• Manage weekly signage requests and coordinate with production teams
• Review and approve planogram exceptions through project management systems
• Ensure signage accuracy and alignment with merchandising strategy

Brand Standards & Store Presentation

• Maintain consistency in visual presentation across store locations
• Ensure merchandising displays align with brand guidelines and customer experience expectations
• Support continuous process improvements for merchandising execution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with merchandising, creative, production, and operations teams
• Lead meetings and communicate project updates effectively
• Support strategic planning initiatives related to visual merchandising execution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5–7 years of experience in retail merchandising, visual marketing, or related field
• Strong background in visual merchandising execution and retail presentation standards
• Proven project management and decision-making experience
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com
