Job Title: Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester
Location: Remote (Texas)
Duration: 4 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to support testing initiatives across enterprise applications. This role involves both manual and automated testing, working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, database validation, and performance testing within complex web environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, design documents, and technical specifications to create detailed test cases
• Develop and execute automated functional and regression tests
• Perform manual testing and data validation
• Document and report defects, test results, and testing summaries
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and analysis
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand application functionality
• Support implementation of test automation frameworks
• Conduct performance and accessibility testing
• Ensure quality across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience testing complex web applications
• 7+ years of experience across all phases of the SDLC
• 6+ years of test automation experience using Selenium or Playwright (Java, TestNG)
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and database validation
• 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks (Playwright preferred)
• 2+ years of experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, WAPT Pro)
• 2+ years of experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for test automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with Apache POI and Apache PDFBox
• Experience with test management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr Scale)

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies
• Proficiency in Java-based testing tools and frameworks
• Solid knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
