Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to support a short-term assignment within a rehabilitation and senior care setting in Sarasota, Florida. This is a float position requiring flexibility to work across two assigned facilities while delivering high-quality, patient-centered speech therapy services.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, the ability to adapt to different care environments, and a commitment to improving communication and swallowing outcomes for a diverse patient population.


Work Schedule & Facility Assignment:

This is a structured float assignment between two locations in Sarasota:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Aviva (Sarasota, FL)
  • Tuesday, Thursday: Glenridge (Sarasota, FL)
  • Schedule: 5 days per week
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals
  • Provide direct therapy services to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and home exercise programs
  • Ensure adherence to facility policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida
  • Strong clinical experience in adult rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently across multiple facility locations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a float environment
