Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical to join a high-acuity surgical trauma unit. This role requires strong clinical expertise in managing complex patient cases within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a high-acuity Medical/Surgical Trauma unit
• Manage complex patient population including spinal, neuro, trauma surgical cases, gunshot injuries, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform thorough nursing assessments, care planning, and documentation in EPIC EMR
• Participate in structured handoffs with ED and admitting units

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical or related specialty
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Must be flexible to work assigned shifts
• No block scheduling available
• No RTO (Requested Time Off not permitted during assignment)
