Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Job Type: Contract (12 Weeks)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a surgical setting. The RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document clinical findings
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures and treatments
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery, and care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Support surgical teams across multiple specialties, including robotic-assisted procedures
• Participate in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Operating Room or surgical/procedural settings preferred
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., Mako) preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
