Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient rehabilitation services in a short-term acute care setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, ensuring effective recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing patient treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists
• Provide one-on-one patient care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Support patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
• Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment
• Collaborate with therapy and clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required at time of submission
• First-time professionals accepted
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a structured outpatient setting
• No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements
