Role Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is hiring a Senior C# / .NET Engineer with strong expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, particularly in flood insurance. This role focuses on building and integrating scalable .NET Core Web APIs that power actuarial, catastrophe modeling, and flood risk analytics systems.

The ideal candidate brings deep domain knowledge and hands-on experience working with complex insurance data, risk models, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance .NET Core Web APIs for insurance applications
• Integrate with key insurance systems, including:
  • Actuarial and rating platforms
  • Catastrophe risk modeling systems
  • Flood risk and analytics platforms
• Perform complex data mapping and transformation across multiple systems
• Work with core insurance concepts such as risk pricing, exposure analysis, catastrophe modeling, and loss estimation
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance
• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth and JWT
• Contribute to Agile development cycles, including sprint planning and iterative releases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, actuarial, and risk teams)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core development
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • ASP.NET Web API
  • Entity Framework
  • SQL and database design
  • RESTful API development
• Experience with data transformation (JSON/XML)
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Solid understanding of P&C insurance, with exposure to flood insurance or risk modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with catastrophe modeling or insurance analytics platforms
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
