Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks, with possibility of extension)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Timing: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver safe and effective radiation treatments to patients. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, ensure accurate treatment delivery, and support patients throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
• Perform simulation and treatment setup procedures
• Conduct basic dosimetric calculations as required
• Operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment
• Monitor patients during treatment and assess reactions
• Provide education and support to patients regarding treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical physicists
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and clinical protocols

Requirements:

• Experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of radiation therapy procedures and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification required
• State licensure (Texas) required or eligible
• BLS Certification preferred
