Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and lead the development of enterprise data frameworks and architecture. This role is responsible for defining data strategy, establishing data governance standards, and ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient integration of data systems across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data engineering, architecture design, and large-scale data ecosystem management.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Strategy

• Design the overall vision and blueprint for enterprise data architecture
• Define data models, structures, and standards for storage, access, and integration
• Establish policies and best practices for data governance and lifecycle management

Data Engineering & Integration

• Design and manage data systems and pipelines across multiple sources
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for efficient data movement and transformation
• Integrate new and emerging data technologies into existing IT environments

Database & Systems Management

• Support database design, optimization, and administration activities
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of enterprise data systems
• Collaborate with development teams on data-driven application requirements

Data Modeling & Analytics Support

• Perform advanced data modeling to support analytics and reporting needs
• Enable high-quality data access for business intelligence and visualization tools
• Ensure consistency and integrity across integrated data sources

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in data ecosystems and architecture
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data architecture solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, MIS, or related IT field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with public-sector or healthcare-related data environments
• Experience supporting large-scale legacy system modernization efforts
• Familiarity with regulated data environments and enterprise governance models
