Job Title: Creative Operations Specialist (Media Creative)
Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract (6+ Months, with possibility of extension)

Schedule:

  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Work Model: Hybrid (onsite presence required periodically)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Creative Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day execution of media creative projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring creative initiatives are efficiently planned, tracked, and delivered across various marketing channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows and enable high-quality creative output.

Responsibilities:

Creative Operations & Project Execution:

  • Support end-to-end creative project workflows including intake, briefing, scheduling, and delivery tracking
  • Assist in gathering project requirements and identifying gaps or risks
  • Maintain detailed timelines, status reports, and tracking documentation
  • Ensure projects progress smoothly through all stages of the creative lifecycle

Workflow, Communication & Coordination:

  • Coordinate communication between creative teams, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Organize and support meetings, including status updates, reviews, and stand-ups
  • Document action items and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Escalate risks, delays, or resource conflicts as needed

Tools, Systems & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate tracking within project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Monday.com, Microsoft Office)
  • Support continuous improvement of workflows, templates, and processes
  • Organize and maintain creative documentation and resources

Collaboration & Team Support:

  • Partner with creative, design, and production teams to support project execution
  • Collaborate with strategy, sales, and account management teams on deliverables
  • Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented team environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or related roles
  • Experience working with creative or marketing teams (agency or media experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Monday.com)
  • Familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Strong Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills
  • Understanding of digital media channels (social, video, onsite/offsite) preferred
