Job Type: Contract (Long-Term – 51 Weeks)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift Time: 08:50 AM – 03:40 PM
Hours: 6.83 hours/day | 34.15 hours/week


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or experienced Behavior Technician to provide direct behavioral support in a structured school-based environment. This role involves working within an intensive program, delivering 2:1 support to a student requiring specialized behavioral and academic assistance.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to continue through the Extended School Year (ESY) and into the 2026–2027 academic year based on performance and program needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 2:1 behavioral support in an intensive classroom setting
  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA principles
  • Collect, track, and document behavioral data accurately throughout the day
  • Support academic engagement and participation in classroom activities
  • Utilize approved de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and support teams
  • Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment
  • Follow individualized student care plans and behavioral protocols
  • Complete required onboarding and ongoing training as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification OR prior experience as a Behavior Technician
  • Experience in special education or intensive behavioral support settings
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors with consistency and professionalism
  • Willingness to complete student-specific training prior to start
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced ABA training or related coursework
  • Previous school-based experience (K–12 preferred)
  • Experience supporting students in 1:1 or 2:1 settings
  • Familiarity with behavioral data collection and tracking systems
