Shift: Night Shift (3x12-hour schedule, 19:00 – 07:30)
Duration: 13-week assignment

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-performing perinatal team in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves caring for patients across antepartum, labor, and delivery phases, with the ability to support postpartum care as needed.

Unit Details:

• 4 antepartum rooms
• 9 labor/high-risk rooms
• 3 triage rooms
• No on-call requirement
• Floating to postpartum may be required based on staffing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, including high-risk pregnancies
• Perform continuous fetal heart monitoring and interpret results
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support antepartum and triage assessments
• Deliver postpartum couplet care (mother and newborn) when needed
• Assist in newborn care during delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Active state RN license required at time of submission
• Required Certifications:
  • AWHONN Advanced (preferred) or NCC EFM
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Willingness to float to postpartum unit as needed
