Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, recent hospital experience, and the ability to manage a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Provide direct bedside care to pre- and post-operative patients
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or adverse reactions
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards, protocols, and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital
• Recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active New York State RN License
• AHA BLS Certification (required)
• AHA ACLS Certification (may be required based on unit)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in large hospital settings
