Shift & Schedule: Days (7a–7p)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-acuity care for cardiovascular and post–open-heart surgery patients
• Perform critical assessments and manage advanced treatment protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications and specialized cardiac treatments
• Advocate for patient safety, privacy, and quality care
• Educate patients and families on recovery and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuous improvement in patient outcomes
• Ensure safe and effective ICU care delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (ER, ICU, or CVICU) OR 2 years PCU/IMCU
• Active Florida RN license or Compact License (FL required within 60 days)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required within 30 days
• CCRN preferred (required within 2 years)
