• Shift: Day Shift (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 35 Hours/Week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) to support oncology data management in an acute care setting. This role focuses on cancer data abstraction, coding, and registry compliance while ensuring accuracy and adherence to national reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract and code cancer registry data
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Perform audits and quality checks
• Collaborate with providers to obtain missing data
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• CTR (Certified Tumor Registrar) or ODS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 3 years of tumor registry/abstracting experience
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• RHIA or RHIT (or eligibility)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• High attention to detail and analytical skills
