• Hours: 12 Hours per Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3 Days per Week
• On-Call: Not Required

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" isseeking a skilled Med/Surg Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. This role requires experience in step-down or telemetry units and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a step-down/telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess adult and geriatric patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Manage patient care for up to 6 patients per shift
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Patient Population & Ratio

• Population: Adult & Geriatric
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Minimum 1–2 years of Step-Down/Telemetry experience
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute care hospital settings
• Strong telemetry and patient monitoring skills

Technology

• EMR Systems: Paragon, Pyxis
