Location: New York, NY 10037
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: Weekends and holidays required
Compensation:

• Local Rate: Up to $2,287
• Travel Rate: Up to $2,990

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support high-quality patient care. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Imaging & Patient Care

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification
• Follow radiation safety protocols at all times

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging rooms and equipment

Documentation & Compliance

• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Adhere to radiation protection and quality assurance guidelines

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients
• Support efficient department workflow and operations

Required Qualifications

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (including military training programs acceptable)

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT certification and registration required
• Active Radiologic Technologist license from New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer
