Job Type: Travel / Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Rotating Days, Every Other Weekend & Holiday

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions across a variety of clinical settings. This role involves critical care support, emergency response, and the administration of life-saving respiratory therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and respiratory equipment
• Perform diagnostic procedures including ABGs and pulmonary function testing
• Respond to emergency situations such as codes and rapid response events
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to develop care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Respiratory Therapist license (Massachusetts)
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required

Preferred Qualifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in ICU, ER, or trauma/critical care settings
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management and acute care protocols
