Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday–Sunday)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist to support complex cardiac and vascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment. This role requires strong expertise in advanced surgical cases and the ability to work efficiently in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and sterile field
• Support surgeons during complex cardiac and vascular cases
• Handle pump lines and assist with preparation for cannulation
• Maintain knowledge of surgical equipment and procedures
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety standards

Procedures Include:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Valve replacements and repairs
• Aortic aneurysm repairs and dissections
• Endovascular procedures (EVAR, TEVAR)
• Carotid endarterectomy
• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) procedures
• Heart and lung transplants
• Robotic and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries

Schedule & Work Details:

• 3x12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday)
• Call requirement: 90–120 hours per 6-week schedule
• No block scheduling

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Experience in Level 1 trauma center required
• Strong experience in vascular and thoracic surgical cases
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• First-time travelers accepted with relevant trauma experience
