Job Title: Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech)

Location: Ithaca, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Evening Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 × 8-hour shifts

Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate imaging results
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification
• Operate radiologic equipment and maintain image quality standards
• Review images for clarity and diagnostic value
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members

Requirements:

• Active Radiologic Technologist license (State-specific)
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
