Shift: Night Shift (22:45 – 07:15)
Schedule: 5x8 Hours | 4–5 Days per Week | Every Other Weekend
Duration: 16 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated CNA / Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. This night shift role supports residents with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. Ideal for candidates who prefer a steady-paced overnight environment and value teamwork and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity
• Provide emotional support to residents and families

Clinical Support:

• Support nursing staff with routine care tasks
• Assist with rehabilitation-related activities as needed
• Float between units based on facility needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Facility Operations:

• Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of patient and common areas
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Attend required training and orientation sessions

Communication & Teamwork:

• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and residents
• Deliver high-quality service and support
• Report concerns promptly and accurately

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State CNA License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a high patient ratio environment (1:18–20)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to float between units
• Open to candidates with LTC, rehab, med-surg, or hospital experience
• First-time travelers welcome

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior long-term care experience
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
• Experience in large facilities (300+ beds)
