Job Title: Endpoint Security Consultant (Defender & Intune)

Location: Remote

Duration: 11+ Months


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Security Consultant with deep, hands-on experience in endpoint protection, device management, and threat response. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Intune, with a proven track record of leading implementations and delivering enterprise-grade security solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of endpoint security solutions
  • Deploy, configure, and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
  • Manage and implement Intune capabilities including device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment
  • Integrate endpoint security solutions with Conditional Access and broader security architecture
  • Perform threat detection, investigation, and incident response activities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and deliver secure endpoint environments
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and client deliverables
  • Provide regular status updates and manage assigned workstreams independently

Required Qualifications:

1. Deep Endpoint & Threat Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender Suite
  • Proven ownership of MDE implementations (deployment, tuning, alerting, and response)
  • Solid experience with Intune (device lifecycle management and policy enforcement)
  • Experience with endpoint/security tools such as:
    • SCCM / MECM
    • Tanium
    • Jamf / MobileIron
    • Rapid7, Wiz, or similar

2. Hands-On Implementation Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering security implementations
  • Strong focus on execution (e.g., implemented, designed, led, migrated, deployed)
  • Ability to own deliverables end-to-end rather than providing only operational support

3. Enterprise / Consulting Experience

  • Experience working in large enterprise environments or consulting engagements
  • Ability to independently manage workstreams with minimal supervision
  • Experience creating client-facing deliverables (documentation, reports, presentations)

4. Communication & Documentation Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Proven experience documenting designs, configurations, and progress clearly

PMO & Delivery Capabilities:

  • Independent Delivery: Ability to manage tasks, milestones, and reporting proactively
  • High-Quality Documentation: Produce accurate and detailed project artifacts with minimal rework

Client Engagement Skills:

  • Strong executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to create polished, client-ready deliverables (presentations, reports, emails)
  • Capable of building strong client relationships with minimal oversight
