Job Title: CNA / Nurse Assistant – Long-Term Care
Location: Vestal, NY
Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: Mid Shift (2:45 PM – 10:15 PM)
Schedule: 5x8 Hours, 4–5 Days/Week, Every Other Weekend

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated CNA / Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on supporting residents with daily activities, ensuring comfort and safety, and assisting nursing staff in delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety

Clinical Support

• Assist nursing staff with routine care
• Support therapy and rehabilitation activities
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Float between units as needed

Facility Operations

• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and equipment
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures

Communication & Teamwork

• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families
• Provide compassionate customer service
• Report concerns promptly

Required Qualifications

• Active New York CNA License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a high patient ratio environment (1:18–20)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or similar settings
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC)
• Experience in large healthcare facilities
