Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Travel / Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 26 Weeks | 40 hrs/week | Day/Evening Shift
Schedule: Every Other Weekend + Rotating Holidays

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in medication preparation, distribution, and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient and/or community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, label, and deliver medications (including controlled substances as applicable)
• Manage inventory, process orders, returns, and stock medications
• Perform billing, documentation, and administrative tasks
• Enter medication orders (MAR) and assist with reconciliation
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Provide customer service and support pharmacy operations
• Assist with sterile compounding/chemotherapy (if certified)
• Train/orient staff and support retail pharmacy functions if needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year recent experience (3 years or certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Certifications

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration (Required)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred/Required based on experience)
