RN Educator- Oncology Clinic - RNEOC 0416 NS#01

Title: RN Educator- Oncology Clinic
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Duration: Permanent
Shift: Monday – Friday/ Days

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clinical competencies aligned with accreditation standards, policies, and departmental needs
• Collaborate with Nursing Management and Education teams to coordinate annual skills training and ongoing education
• Support and/or teach during departmental and hospital orientation programs
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Train inpatient and outpatient nursing staff in standard oncology practices
• Co-facilitate:
• Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy courses (biannually)
• Oncology Certification Preparation course
• Maintain competency in chemotherapy infusion processes (inpatient & outpatient)
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred) with at least 1 year of clinical education experience
  (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Prior oncology experience (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Active, unrestricted RN license (State of Colorado)
• OCN certification (preferred)
• Minimum experience: Less than 1 year

Certifications Required

• BLS / BCLS
