Location: Gunnison, CO

Compensation:

  • Travel: Upto $60/hr (including stipend)
  • Local: Upto $52/hr

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Holiday Coverage: Required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sleep Technician / Polysomnographer to support a Sleep Lab team in a clinical setting. This role involves conducting comprehensive sleep studies, analyzing data, and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders under physician supervision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform overnight polysomnography (sleep studies), including patient setup, monitoring, and data collection
  • Educate patients on procedures and apply monitoring equipment accurately
  • Continuously monitor patients during studies and respond to any clinical or technical issues
  • Score and document sleep data, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and cardiac rhythms
  • Assist with CPAP/BiPAP titration studies as needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment; ensure proper calibration
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and facility protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care and diagnosis
  • Provide patient education regarding sleep disorders and therapeutic equipment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sleep Technician or Polysomnographer (Required)
  • Active state license/credential (if applicable)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Required)
  • Experience with sleep study equipment and monitoring systems
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
  • Strong understanding of sleep disorders and treatment modalities
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
