Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Night Shift)

Location: Herrin, Illinois
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every third weekend rotation (Friday & Saturday nights; Sunday as needed)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role focuses on supporting patients recovering from medical and neurological conditions, including stroke and other functional impairments, while working closely with an interdisciplinary care team to promote recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients
Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on recovery goals and care plans
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
Support neurological rehabilitation patients, including stroke recovery cases
Participate in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois required)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
BLS/BCLS certification
Experience in medical-surgical or rehabilitation nursing preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and assessment skills
Ability to work night shifts with weekend rotation
