Position Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III (Travel Role)

Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule

• Night Shift
• 3 x 12.5-hour shifts per week
• 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
• 36–37.5 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to support patient care through phlebotomy services and non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the capability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures, including blood draws and specimen collection
• Ensure proper patient identification and safety protocols
• Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing (EKG, Holter monitor placement, stress testing)
• Document patient data, test results, and procedures accurately in hospital systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lab requisitions
• Educate patients on procedures and testing processes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and laboratory teams
• Maintain and restock supplies and report shortages
• Follow infection control and PPE guidelines
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff or students
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
• EKG Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience in phlebotomy and cardiac diagnostic testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care hospital experience
