Duration: 6–12 Months Contract

Position Overview

An organization in the pharmaceutical domain is seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in Clinical Trials Payments. This role will lead product strategy, roadmap planning, and end-to-end delivery of a Clinical Trials Payment platform.

The ideal candidate will translate complex payment workflows into clear product requirements and work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, regulatory, and analytics to drive successful product releases and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for the Clinical Trials Payment platform
• Align product strategy with business goals, market needs, and user feedback
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
• Partner with leadership to prioritize initiatives aligned with organizational and clinical objectives

Clinical Trials Payment Expertise & Requirements Gathering

• Translate clinical payment workflows and guidelines into detailed product requirements
• Collaborate with payment leads, SMEs, and data partners to validate use cases
• Represent the clinical/payment perspective in cross-functional discussions
• Ensure product decisions support compliance and clinical effectiveness

Product Development & Execution

• Work closely with engineering, design, regulatory, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Define success metrics and ensure high-quality, timely product delivery
• Manage backlog and prioritize features in an Agile environment

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Engage with stakeholders, customers, and partners to gather feedback and improve product adoption
• Lead product demos, training sessions, and communication initiatives
• Act as the primary point of contact for escalations related to clinical payment features

Data, Analytics & Outcomes

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success
• Measure impact on workflow efficiency, compliance, and outcomes
• Collaborate with analytics teams to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Product Owner in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain
• Hands-on experience with Clinical Trials Payments systems or workflows
• Proven ability to translate business needs into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with clinical trial systems or healthcare platforms
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in clinical research
• Experience driving product adoption and user engagement initiatives
